Windsor Dental Practice – Private Patient Failed to Attend (FTA) and Deposit Policy

At Windsor Dental Practice, we are committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring that appointment times are used efficiently. To maintain fairness and service standards for all our private patients, the following policy applies:

Private Patient Charges for Failed Attendance:

If a private patient fails to attend an appointment or cancels at short notice (less than 24 hours’ notice), they will either:

  • Lose their deposit paid at the time of booking, or
  • Be charged a failed appointment fee, depending on the circumstances and appointment length.

This policy is necessary to cover the costs associated with lost clinical time and to ensure that appointments remain available for patients who need them.

We kindly ask all patients to inform us as early as possible if they are unable to attend an appointment, allowing us to offer the time to someone else.
