THE WINDSOR DENTAL PRACTICE

We are an independent family run practice close to the city centre. Dr Ravi & Dr Anjli are a husband a wife team who took over the practice in 2018 and have continued to build the practice with a focus on high quality and ethical dental care. They strive to provide the best treatments for their patients, whilst also building and motivating a highly skilled team.

MEET THE TEAM

A key message for our practice centres around maintaining a healthy and positive relationship between our patients and their teeth. We encourage regular visits to our friendly dentists and hygienists to ensure any small issues are identified quickly, and are not allowed to escalate into bigger problems.

Dr Anjli Chandarana

Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider

Anjli graduated from Kings College London and has since spent her time developing her career working in practices in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. Anjli has developed a keen interest in orthodontics, having completed a certificate in Orthodontics at Warwick University, as well as a diploma in clear aligner therapy (Invisalign). She has spent time working at Kettering Hospital, providing complex orthodontic treatment to adults and children, under the mentorship of renowned orthodontic consultants.

Anjli became one of the leading providers of Invisalign treatment within Leicestershire within a year, and has now reached Platinum Elite status.

Alongside her passion for orthodontics, Anjli has trained alongside some of the highest aesthetic clinicians to provide non surgical facial rejuvenation treatments including dermal fillers and lip enhancements. In addition to this, she has completed enhanced level training in skincare and is a proud accredited provider of ZO Skin Health.

Whilst managing and running both this practice and Lux Dental Quorn, Anjli enjoys time outside of work going out to eat, socialising with friends, and spending quality time with her two young daughters.

Dr Ravi Chandarana

Ravi graduated from Charles University, Prague, after which he returned home to Leicester where he started work at The Windsor Dental Practice as an associate. Through this time, he developed his skill and passion for high quality and ethical dentistry, and furthered his training through post graduate education in the field of endodontics (root canal treatment) and cosmetic dentistry.

Ravi and his wife, Anjli, took over the practice in 2017 and have since invested back in to the practice to build a superb team, providing all aspects of routine and complex dentistry, whilst also maintaining their core value to always put the interest of the patients first.

Ravi has now spent time completing further training in implantology and surgical dentistry, whilst building his skill in high level cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding and smile makeovers.

Outside of dentistry, Ravi is a keen Leicester City supporter and enjoys going to matches where he can, alongside spending time with his family.

Dr Akash Madhu

Kamakshi (Keshvi) Modi

Keshvi graduated from the University of Leeds in 2018 and then returned to her hometown Leicester. She has a kind, caring and compassionate approach and loves to spend that extra time with nervous patients to help put them at ease and build their confidence. Her goal is to provide high quality care and motivate all her patients to improve their oral health. Keshvi particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry, including composite bonding, Invisalign, teeth whitening and practising other minimally invasive techniques to create beautiful natural smiles for her patients. She completed a further 1 year Cosmetic & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course with the prestigious Dr Chris Orr and has also completed the MJDF qualification to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. Currently she is working towards becoming an accredited Invisalign provider. Outside of work she is a huge foodie and loves baking sweet treats for her family and friends (yes dentists also have a sweet tooth!). She also loves travelling and enjoys yoga in her spare time.

Yusuf graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Central Lancashire, a post graduate university having previously been awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Leicester. Yusuf is committed to providing excellent quality and ethical dentistry, focused on patients’ needs to NHS and private patients using modern techniques. He provides routine general dentistry as well as being an accredited Invisalign provider and delivering state of the art smile make overs and composite bonding. He is passionate about providing excellent dentistry with an interest in minimally invasive dentistry and growing strong partnerships between himself and patients. When he’s not at work, Yusuf is a massive foodie, loves to travel and enjoys spending time his family and friends.

Dr Aruna Ubhi

Aruna has a friendly, calming approach where her aim is to ensure patients feel at ease. She is committed to building new skills to offer to patients so they can receive comprehensive treatment. If you have any worries or concerns, make sure to let Aruna know and she will do her best to help.

Aruna graduated from the University of Sheffield and since then has embarked upon a diverse career in dentistry. Aruna has a keen interest in Oral Surgery and has worked in Luton & Dunstable Hospital Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department dealing with trauma in A&E (such as lacerations and broken jaws), complex tooth extractions and assisting with treatment of oral cancer. Her passion for surgery has continued into General Practice where she has gained admission to the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and uses her surgical skills to extract challenging teeth. She is pursuing further training in Implantology to replace missing teeth. She will be offering Implants within the year at Windsor Dental Practice. Aruna is also currently undertaking further training in complex root canal treatments.

Aruna has also trained in Facial Aesthetics at the prestigious Acquisition Aesthetics, an academy only for Medical Professionals. She offers whitening and other cosmetic treatment including composite fillings and white ceramic crowns.

When not at work, Aruna loves to travel and is into fitness including gym, netball and tennis.

Rajesh Ganpatlal

Dr.Rajesh Ganpatlal, qualified from Goa University in 1997, joined us as a Dental Associate in June 2022. Raj is a confident Dental professional with over 22 years of experience in dentistry from India and Mozambique and now working in UK as a General Dental Practitioner since 2019 within both NHS and Private settings. In this time he has built a considerable amount of knowledge within all areas of general dentistry. He always focuses on patient wellbeing and aims to deliver a relaxing, stress-free, and positive experience, with his friendly and approachable attitude. His interests lie in providing best care and an excellent standard of family dental healthcare, with a special focus on prevention of disease and retention of teeth for as long as possible. He also has an interest in Aesthetic dentistry and improving smiles. He has a commitment to lifelong learning and continually enhancing his knowledge and keeping abreast with cutting edge techniques.

Raj is fluent in English, whilst Portuguese, Gujarati, Hindi is his native tongue, so can easily communicate with a wide variety of patients. Raj enjoys cooking, music, singing and socialising with family and friends.
